While I could keep reading this series well into the future, I can see how five volumes are enough to tell a satisfying story. Five books give a good sense of the restaurant's atmosphere and menu as well as it's history and the history of the world it connects to. This volume (and this series) does not disappoint. Once again we get what appear to be just stories with a focus on the food the characters eat. But through each of those and several volumes we have learned about the other world, some of its history, its current events, and how Western Cuisine Nekoya has been part of it. This …
This continues to be a wonderful isekai story that's got world building, but also relaxing so you get to know the various characters and the world they come from. It's sad that the next volume appears to be the last one published.
Same issues than the previous, that hateful, vulgar, cheap family and the petty Ellen character. I wish they dissappear. Other than that, a fun read overall will make you hungry for sure! Onto my next adventure, Happy Readings!!!!
Don't read this book hungry!! An adorable book, with fun world building and absolutely delicious and wonderful descriptions of food. Very mouth watering!
World building continues to get woven in, as we begin to see more recurring characters. It's just enough to keep things fresh even when you have the repetitive slice of life formula.

Much like previous volumes the book contains of several short stories each focussing on a different character and their favorite meal. Through recurring characters and flashbacks we get several overarching stories, details on the world and the Restaurant to Another World (in this case its origin and source of the magic). Personally I really enjoy the series due its characters …
Series continues to be a wonderful feel-good collection of vignettes. Loose elements of metaplot given to us as we are served up a delicious collection of food-centred short stories. Really, what is not to like? Especially as many can't eat out due to various lockdowns, this is the other world we all want to be in.
Another delightful read. The added backstory makes this volume especially good.
